People in my section at the Wacko Ctr look at me like I'm a bad guy yelling in frustration at #37 at games. As if the fact that he looks like Herman Munster isn't bad enough, he still misses the net over 50% of the time shooting from the point leading to some oddman rush, he has failed to understand that you cannot hook anymore, lacks the strength to win any battles on the boards or in front of the net, and seems as slow as Hatcher. What a joke. Can Picard and Jones be worse at this point than Desjardins and Rathje? Like getting used to a foul smell, we're so used to Desjardins crap-o-riffic play anymore that something today made me remember somewhat better days: OLN was replaying the '97 Qtr-finals Game 5 between the Penguins and Flyers today - one of Mario's retirement games. I almost forgot that Desjardins was somewhat decent, at one time. He actually had (more) speed, fought for pucks, looked like he had desire. Actually that whole '97 team looked blazingly fast compared to tonight's newest display of vomitosity. They pull this shit on Wednesday night after I paid big bucks to see their no-skating asses (or should I say forced to pay by the Flyers or lose my seats) and I will be relentless with booing them off the fucking ice. And everyone else should too. This is not Flyers hockey and at least I'm not going to tolerate it. Maybe they should use their pink jerseys in Game 4 if they don't show up in game 3 wednesday.
