Bully,
I'm with you even if I am a Ranger fan... I'm so fed up with Bettman and his cronies. Hopefully you saw him on NBC Saturday saying that his refs better keep calling the games like pussies or he'll fire them. Then, the Rangers/Devils have exactly 5 minutes at even strength in the 3rd period.

Fast forward to Sat night I watched the Flyers/Sabres and was appalled that the Flyers had to kill off 4 minutes straight in penalties in OT. IN THE PLAYOFFS.

The hockey purists need to find a new sport I'm afraid. Does Lacrosse have a TV contract?

Yeah, no worries. I think I was bummed out about the Flyers getting destroyed. But when I thought about it more I have concluded that except for a week or two during the regular season this team has under-achieved and is likely not that good to begin with. After figuring that out, seems like a weight has been lifted somewhat and now they can flounder until Buffalo puts them out of their misery.

I can understand your frustration with the "new NHL". I have some specific beefs as well. But I sincerely hope you won't boycott the action of this playoffs. There are some great hits and goals and rants (and eventually maybe some brawls) and I was hoping BSB.com would be my one stop for it all.
