From my ears to your eyes: Folks in the know tell me that Primeau has put such a tight restriction on what he considers “healthy” that it is likely he may never play again. Many players can play with slight symptons but because of his promises to his wife, Primeau will not train or play with even slight symptoms.

The feel I’m getting from the Flyers is that they’ve about had it with the Primeau saga and would like more cap room to make more moves.

I wouldn’t rule out a Primeau retirment before the season starts. He can always come back later like everyone else who retires but this is getting a little Lindros-esque. Remember all the press and hype and Eric finally came back for 2 games and the next hit he took — Boom: Out of Philly for good.

I doubt Primeau could take another serious hit to the head area.

This is where the chumps that run the Flyers need to act like businessmen. Move him aside until he’s ready, if he ever is (been 2 full years now of Primeau is coming back nonsense) and use the extra money to get yourself a healthy player or two or even seven more nobodies from Europe and local men’s leagues.

I like Primeau but this shit is getting old. And the Flyers brass never understands when enough is enough for the fans. Too fat and happy to make moves that make sense.
