So now Daniel Briere makes as much money as Peter Forsberg. That makes total f’n sense. We’re getting back to 1980s hockey — without the fights of course — where scrawny but fast wimps using their sticks as weapons will rule the ice.

Briere has one good year and now he makes as much as Forsberg?

That NHL/NHLPA system that we all sat around for a year with our thumbs in our asses waiting for them to fix as promised, is perhaps more out of whack then ever. Every mediocre player is making millions a year with their new contracts.
