God save us. You just have to figure that Clarke and company are shopping Gagne around for a trade. At this point, it smells like Clarke has little intention on signing him. Gagne is way overpriced IMO.

Hell, I guess I would shop him too. I mean, why should he make as much as Forsberg a year? Gagne is still soft in my book. Just because a pussy like Tanguay gets $5 million a year, now Gagne deserves it? Fuck that noise.

Gagne didn’t do squat in the lineup last season when Forsberg was out injured. And overall, he has been more hype than anything since being drafted. He is not consitent to the point he deserves $5 million a year — the same amount as Jagr as well.

Maybe someone will be stupid enough to put an offer sheet in on him. But I seriously doubt it. Trade him and use the $4 million you have left over to address your blue line.
