Well placed Flyers brass told me today that if Gagne and his agent don’t sign by the start of camp on 9/15, he’s as good as traded.

But likely the plan is to let him sit for awhile while his trading value grows, especially if other key players around the league get injured etc. as the season progresses.

I guess Gagne’s agent Suave forgot that the Flyers let Lindros rot for a year in the same boat until they dumped him.
