Ed, I think Hitch was the problem … yeah, right. I liked how Ed said Hitch had “lost the room.” What room? You don’t have a team, Ed. There is no “room.” And your new coach is a joker.

Hitch is the new Blue Jackets coach and will be the bench boss against the Flyers on Friday. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m rooting for a big Blue Jackets win Friday.

Who wants to bet that Hitch ends up in the conference finals, perhaps even the cup finals with Columbus? I’m picturing Craig Ramsey and Bill Barber being interviewed on CBC after Tampa won the cup and they were gleaming with pride. Expect to see Hitch smiling too, starting Friday.
