This isn’t hockey related but it is bugging the hell out of me so I’m going to address it … quickly.

All the talk today in Philly is not about the Flyers or 76ers … but about Barbaro. Dead Barbaro. Poor Barbaro. Poor Barbaro owners (nothing poor about the $40 million insurance payout on the dead horse). Poor Barbaro fans.

Fuck Barbaro.

One of the owners was on the news saying that we, collectively as a society, need to finish the work that Barbaro started and that Barbaro would serve as an inspiration to millions.

What planet are these people from? Stop pretending that you care about horses when you participate and profit from horse racing. It is a nasty, corrupt and cruel business.

There are millions of people in need of help and charity throughout the world and we’re talking about a horse? Fuck the horse. Help your fellow man.

Barbaro should have been put down in May. Wonder how much Barbaro sperm they banked so they could sell it for even more cash?

What a spin though. Poor Barbaro, yes. Poor owners? No way.
