Peter Forsberg is history as a Flyer. He has waived his no trade clause. Offers are pouring in and he will be moved likely before the Feb 27 trade deadline. This is supposed to all be secret but seriously, you think Forsberg was staying? He has more pride than to hang around here with this team …

Hopefully they have enough sense to get some players for him. When I think of trades like the Adam Oates deal and dishing Justin Williams for a bag of pucks …. I cringe.

Expect Mike Richards to wear the “C”? Maybe Fedoruk? Nah, Richards is a better fit and it signifies what tact the Flyers brass will take at the end of the season to spin the worst year in franchise history: “Youth Movement.”

It’s like cable TV. We’ve seen this act before. It’s a rerun.
