This Scott Burnside clown who writes for ESPN.com claims Lindros is fulfilling his destiny in Toronto blah blah blah. How many times have we seen this crap? We’re 10 games into the season so no one has fulfilled anything, especially Lindros. And what exactly is his destiny? And where has he been since 2000? He still is skating with his head down and all he needs is one good smack and then … well, we all know the story so why go into it. So relax there, Burnside. You’re 10 years late on the scoop and since ESPN doesn’t even broadcast hockey, pack you pencils and hit the fuckin’ road too, hero.

Burnside also writes in a separate sissy-laced masterpiece that the Thrashers and Boulton are thugs all because of an elbow or two and that this type of play is soiling the “rosy” start of an otherwise remarkable NHL season. First, I don’t know any grown man that uses the term “rosy,” unless he’s banging some chick with that name. Secondly, hockey is a man’s sport so if you can’t stomach an elbow or two or three or a lost tooth here and there, stay in your cozy newsroom snuggled up with your Starbucks, Burnside with all the other cowards that wish they knew what if felt like to lace them up … but instead just write senseless articles … or steal them.

Another recent article about the Thrashers on ESPN.com “written” by Burnside also looks a hell of a lot like an article published 7 days earlier in the Atlanta Journal Constitution newspaper by another writer. Interesting.
