Here it is the holiday weekend in the states and I am looking at the schedule to see when the Stanley Cup finals start and I couldn’t believe my eyes.

Monday @ 8 pm? What numbskull is scheduling this stuff?

The last thing most people in the states are going to do after a three-day weekend is settle in for a NHL game on Monday night. Yes, even hockey fans will likely be traveling on or about that and trying to wrap up the weekend and get prepared to squeeze a week of work into four days. Plus, many folks like to watch fireworks too on the Monday night.

Again, the NHL is just so out of touch.
