Canadian Bacon and Scrambled Reporters

It’s almost as entertaining to watch the Canadian media scrambling around searching for answers to the Senators woes, as it is watching and listening to the Senators coaching staff.

Here’s a tip: Ducks are just the better team. Might change. Don’t think so though.

In Philly, the reporters had the guts to say just that after the Flyers went down into a 2-0 hole to the Red Wings in the 1997 cup finals.

Call it like it is. It’s easy. Your readers and viewers already know it anyway. The Senators are cooked. Sweep?

With the Ducks success, could this help bring back real hockey next season? With hitting and hitting and heart and swagger and a nasty edge when needed? There is hope.

When the Ducks win Saturday, expect Muckler and sissy-ass Murray to put on an Academy-Award worthy show about the Ducks clutching, grabbing, hitting too hard, blah blah blah, like they did after game one and even to the NHL before the series started.

Before the series started a number of Canadian reporters wrote stories making fun of Anaheim fans and the team — which has 20 or so Canadians on it. I’d be scrambling too I guess if I did that.
