When you watch the modern Canadiens games you think shit.

Gutless little shits. Fakers who need their noses and faces busted. Ribeiro, Kovalev and the list goes on and it continues to expand. Their Frenchy the Dough Boy coach is likely to blame at least in part. It’s OK to be a fat boy if you’re a man about it: like old school Pat Burns and Hitchcock and John Goodman. But pudgy whiners have no place in pro hockey, unless you’re buying a ticket.

Looks like Don Cherry’s sentiments about French-Canadian players has merit after all (like anyone not employed by CBC didn’t already know that). The Canadiens now are an embarrassment to organized hockey everywhere. The way the players conduct themselves on the ice should be used to instruct young players how not to behave and play. Fake injuries, dives, play acting, bad breath, cheap cologne, discount berets, wine and cheese between periods. If the modern Canadiens are the role models for the youth of Quebec, don’t expect anything to change down the road. They will turn out gutless and soft like their role models. There are exceptions but folks, le proof is in le pudding.
