Canadiens: What have you done in the last 40 years but complain?
A piece published today at Canada.com by some tool named Jack Todd. Not sure what he is smoking. Or maybe being a Canadiens fan or writer just gives you that we’re-French-so-we’re-better-than-you-regardless-of-reality mindset.
Anyway, one of the dumbest things I’ve read in a long time, fueled by the fact that Briere snubbed the Habs in free agency.
Meanwhile, here’s a truth that will dawn on M. Brière as he struggles through this season with the Flyers: Even without him, the Canadiens are a better team than Philadelphia.
OK. bro. Check the standings when the smoke clears. And book your vacation in May. The Habs will be long gone by then. Might make the playoffs. If so, one and done, as usual.
Canadiens won a bunch of cups when there were 6 teams in the NHL. WHOOO HOOO! Couple more after the league expanded to 12 in 1967. But since then it’s been largely blah blah blah, spin and blame. Christ, you couldn’t even keep Patrick Roy.
Notice to all Habs writers: shut up. Your days of winning cups are gone.
Wonder if the Habs reporters wear visors too in the press box?
