A Late Hit Bad, But Personal Bounties OK?
I expect the Flyers will keep Steve Downie up here for awhile, if Bettman doesn’t exile him at Friday’s hearing.
The Flyers brass have balls so I expect them to weather all the BS. Downie is taking a beating, mostly from these Canadian pussies who cover hockey for the media. Leave Downie alone.
But it’s OK for Brian McGrattan to say he is going to kill Downie first chance he gets? He has said it in daily interviews and the reporters are loving it and giving it all types of play. A late hit is bad but bounties on people’s heads are ok?

My old man had some sound advice when I was growing up. Never worry about the guy who says he’s going to beat your ass because he himself is truly afraid and uses his words to mask it. Worry about the guy who gives no warning and takes care of business.
