This makes complete sense. LOL.

Wow, another knee-jerk response from Colonoscopy Campbell and the NHL. The league should have the balls to ignore media pressure. Do what you think is right. Don’t curtsy to the media.

Think about the absurdity of this:

Islanders forward Chris Simon was suspended for a league-record 25 games in March for his two-handed stick attack to the face of Ryan Hollweg of the New York Rangers. Simon, a long history of disciplinary run ins with the NHL.

Marty McSorley received a 23-game suspension for attacking Brashear with a stick, and was found guilty in criminal court for the same. McSorely, a long history of disciplinary run ins with the NHL.

Steve Downie, a rookie prospect with no prior disciplinary problems in the NHL, gets 20 games for his check on Dean McAmmond.

WHAT? This is a joke, right?

Poor man’s Lindros was doing interviews the next day, all day on Canadian TV. He wasn’t impaired. He wasn’t even hospitalized. He got KO’d.

Anyone want to buy a website? This league is getting pretty bad.
