Plenty of MSG in NHL’s legal diet
This could be the best hockey fight of the year. Finally, someone has the balls to call NHL brass on the carpet. And it’s the New York Rangers.
An original six team sues the NHL. Bettman’s alleged leadership again, shines through. Most leaders would have the brains to quash this before it gets to this stage to avoid bad publicity. Not Bettman.
I like the part where MSG says the NHL has blown its chances of securing any meaningful national TV contract yet it is trying to interfere with how MSG handles Ranger’s broadcasts and distribution. If the Rangers win … other teams will tell the league to stuff it too. Wonder if they are teaching the business model used for the NHL in any colleges. Perhaps under chapter entitled “How Not to Succeed in Business.”

Might be true but I don’t see Bettman as a Colombian Strongman like Pablo Escobar. Looks more like Pee Wee Herman to me. Has anyone ever fucked up a former major sport like this tool?
