Briere Bust Watch continued
When I see all these sheep at the game with Briere jerseys, I have to chuckle. Folks are stupid. And the Kool Aide in Philly is always flowing as these saps are ready to drink another cup of the Flyers are great beverage.
Yes, I am a Flyers fan. No, I do not like what the team has become under Comcast ownership. I do not like how much it charges for tickets and what it provides. I do not like the annual excuses. I do not like when management acts like it is doing fans a favor by just having the Flyers in Philadelphia. I think the majority of fans are jaded in part by a slick hype and PR machine that is engaged to jade the fans and keep tickets and merchandise selling.
Perfect example was the Flyers trying to land a big free agent in the summer. It’s all about selling tickets folks and not about making smart personnel choices. Briere is the last guy that fits well into Flyers hockey. He is a sissy. And he’s largely unproven minus two seasons where he skated with talent and put up great numbers. Either way, he is a baby and I can’t stand this type of player.
How can Philly fans boo Sidney Crosby and not boo Briere? (I’ll spell his name right when and if he earns his money).
Crosby is the best young player in the world and Philly fans boo him? You’re stupid. And you look stupid when you do it. Get off the Kool Aide. Just because he is not a Flyer that does not mean he is not good. Give great players respect regardless of the sweater they wear. You look like flaming idiots to the world when you boo a guy like Crosby.
You want to boo someone? Start with Briere. All these guys below are players who have more points this season ahead of Danny boy. And no one on the list is making as much money as Briere. Boo all you want but boo Briere first before you open your pie hole and boo anyone whose name is below.
