Geez, it’s tough to play in Philly these days.

Hartnell drops the gloves twice last night against the Florida Panthers and gets booed after his second bout by the hometown faithfull. Grant it, he got manhandled for the most part first by Ollie Jokinen and then by Richard Zednik in the third period. Last thing those two Euro girls manhandled was a bottle of wine.
Never a guy to tell someone not to drop the gloves but is this the best guy to be doing so for the Flyers? Each fight lasted 10 seconds and Hartnell ended up on his back after slipping or falling or whatever.

Get Cote on the ice, Stevens. Hartnell has been scoring goals lately, so don’t chance him busting a hand — probably breaking his fall to the ice instead of punching some one, but anyway …

Get Boulerice back up is Cote doesn’t want to fight, which I doubt anyway. Geez, does every tough guy in Philly eventually think they’re Brashear and don’t have to fight?
