Neely's play redefined the game: He was the 1st power forward. Before him, it was unheard of to be able to score 35 to 50 goals in a season AND crush players with checks and fists. He was 2 players in 1.

Bure will get the nod next year 2006, which is his 1st year of eligibility. Mogilny will have to wait awhile. He is far from an automatic nod. Likely greater than a 10 year wait for him if he gets in at all.

I'm curious if BSB believes that Neely deserves to be in the HOF. If so (or, if not) do Pavel Bure or Alex Mogliny deserve to be there eventually?

In regards to Neely and his style of play. I believe that Bertuzzi could be a physical and scoring force like Neely except he is missing one key aspect: He doesn't play with the same firey intensity that Neely had. Instead, Bertuzzi's is more of a surly grumpiness.
