Letters: The greedy, disloyal Flyers
Philadelphia Daily News
AS A FLYERS season ticket-holder from their first game, it’s sad that they’re going corporate America.I’m told I have premium seats, and they’re raising the price from $73 to $175 a seat ($350 a game). That’s $15,500 a season, not counting playoff tickets.
How can a middle-class person afford to go to a sporting event? By the time you park and eat, it will cost you $500 a game. It was we middle-class fans who supported them during their slump, not corporate America. The Flyers talk about family fun night. How can you bring your family at this price? I just can’t believe they are doing this to loyal fans. Maybe the fans should boycott them.
