Nosing around tonight after returning from the Frozen Four in Denver, I noticed 2 things:

1. A snow storm/wind storm or whatever up her in Canada has sacked all Bully’s satellite dishes over the weekend when I was away.

2. Ovechkin played almost 27 minutes on Sunday.

Now, Bully can fix any satellite snags. That’s just a matter of troubleshooting and navigating an icy roof.

However, if Ovechkin continues to log these types of minutes, he will be be dog food within days and rendered useless … which is fine with me.

I did enjoy watching the Flyers frustrate the hell out of him on the flight today. I passed a note to the flight chick with the FLyers vs Caps game info and channel and she announced it over the P.A. system about five minutes prior to faceoff. The news was met with resounding applause from a flight packed with hockey nuts headed out of the Frozen Four.

I could get a satellite feed at 36,000 feet, but not on the ground.

Gonna be one of those weeks, eh?
