Penguins beat a sick dog in four games. I’m not impressed. The Senators haven’t beaten anyone since January. The worst slide in recent memory that I can recall.

So go rest up, Pens. If the Flyers win the series, you’re going to need your rest.

You’ll have to play the Flyers this time, Sidney. It will be the first playoff games of the year for you because the Senators just don’t count. You haven’t proven a damn thing yet boys.

Penguins jumping up and down at the end of tonight’s game and hugging each other like a Pee Wee squad. Embarrassing. You just beat a team that lost 21 of their last 31 games.

Gary Roberts was standing away from the group and watching and had an expression on his face that could be translated as follows:

“Geez, these kids are awful excited about winning a lousy quarterfinal. It’s a long road, boys. Settle down.”
