Losing Andy Murray as a coach will have a definite and lingering, negative effect on the Flyers this season.

Murray was a solid assistant coach who has been replaced by Craig Berube. Yeah, exactly.

I would be surprised if the Flyers have a better season than last year. I don’t think their record will be any better and I think we will see many, many streaks where fans boo them, as they did after the first period last night in the home opener.

Who else is waiting for Gagne to get another concussion? Just seems inevitable.
