Anyone else secretly wishing for Dominik Hasek to crash and burn for the Senators?

This guy was laughed out of Detroit and now brings his act to Ottawa. And now the Sens are looking to him to do better than Lalime in the post season: Hasek likely won’t make it until then. A once-great goalie (way way overrated though IMO) but an ego flake well past his prime. But hey it’s not a total wash as we get to see him roll around in the crease like a sniper picked him off from the rafters whenever someone brushes him in the crease. Probably has a whole new set of acting tools learned from the poor working-stiff that he partially crippled while playing roller hockey in the Czech Republic two years ago from savagely beating the unsuspecting opponent in a men’s league game.

Now there’s a role model for the kids in Ottawa. I smell promotional potential here: Ice Bag and Turniquette give away night.

Nice Shorts there Dom. Looks like Hasuck has been pumping iron or raiding Garth Snow’s hand me downs.
