When do you call 11 games boring?
There were 11 games on Thursday in the NHL and 1 lousy fight. These guys are clowns. Little reason to wait until February to see Olympic hockey? We’re already watching it … nightly.

thought the same thing when i checked the paper this morning and read through penalties to all the games.
im still pissed to be reading in all the local papers in the ny/nj area about ruff’s and the rest of buffalo’s comments on kasperitis’s hit. you couldnt ask for a better hip check. i saw nothing wrong with it at all.
even though being shit faced at the islanders/ flyers pre season game i was still bored to tears and spent most of the time playing bubble hockey instead. i was critical of how hockey would be after watching that game, but downplayed it cause of preseason.
trenton titans are more exciting then the nhl… and thats pretty pathetic

Don’t just complain about it, do something. Write to the NHL and tell them (even if it’s a lie) that you buy those 10 game ice-packs every season and you are pissed.
Tell them that hockey without fighting is like basketball without dunking.
I got onto an NHL Fan Poll mailing list under two different emails. Every question I answer I do so carefully so as to give them the impression that I have an assload of money to spend on hockey, but their crackdown on fighting has me fed up.
I write to the NHL, to local newspapers, I call in to radio shows. Everyone else reading this should be doing the same thing.
Why should Don Cherry, BSB and a few others be making all the noise? Those who dig fighting in hockey should NOT be silent about it.
In business, the customer is always right. The NHL is a business. We are the customers. Get it?
