As an Olympic goalie for the US? Is he the best we have? Hardly. He was a 5.10 GAA today against the Russians. Brutal. Niittymaki meanwhile, a rookie NHL goalie, is on fire at the Olympics for Finland.

NOTE TO FLYERS BRASS AGAIN: Put a deal together and get Luongo from FLA for this Esche stiff. Or make Niittymaki your No. 1 keeper and bench Esche for the Cup run.
