Same Kool Aide year after year. It’s time we all woke up. Flyers aren’t winning anything any time soon, except more money from their fans. (And brass damn well knows it: that’s why they moved the playoff season ticket payment deadline up 5 weeks this year and stalled Kieth Primeau’s announcement for months that he was done. They knew for 2 to 3 months that he was done. I think I wrote that in a blog entry in December that sources said Primeau was caput for the season. Fuckers.)

Great quotes from Flyers beat reporter Chuck Gormley this past weekend, really sum up some 30 years plus of cyclical Bullshit:

“But these are the Flyers, remember? They set you up, then they let you down.”

“Barring a real steal before Thursday’s deadline or the FDA approval of a pill that miraculously alleviates concussion symptoms, the Flyers are nearing the cold reality that they’re just not equipped to make a serious run at the Cup this season.”

Gormley is obviously a fan too. Only fans can relate.
