We will continue coverage through 2008-09 as well.

Flyers Training Protocol Needs Closer Look

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

Eric Lindros said a lot of things about the Flyers and many weren’t complimentary. But eight years later, everything Lindros said has panned out for the most part. Dizzy, yes. A liar? No.
The “one thing” he said that sent Bob Clarke over the edge was that the Flyers training staff were kooks. That they didn’t […]

Handicapping the Already Handicapped Philadelphia Flyers

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

Here’s how HockeyBully.com is handicapping the Flyers season … what’s left of it.
Doubtful they will make the playoffs… They beat Atlanta tonight. Woo Fuckin’ Hoo. When is the parade?
I do not see many more wins from here on out (what else is new …) Regardless of how the individual games play out, I only see […]

Riddle Me This, Bettman?

Monday, March 17th, 2008

Look out. The Prospector is out of the box and he just has no idea what is wrong with the Flyers and why they are losing. He just can’t figure it out. It’s a riddle.
For any of you Ed “Riddler” Snider novices, he always starts yapping when he fears the loss of playoff money, but […]

Bully Can No Longer Support the Flyers

Monday, March 17th, 2008

After a weekend of three of the worst games I can remember these heartless jackasses playing, the phone rings this morning.
It’s the Flyers season ticket droid. She wants to know how I’m doing. Sorry to bother you but we need an answer on whether you want to keep your season tickets that have been in […]

Fire John Stevens, Chapter 3

Saturday, March 15th, 2008

New chapter in the blog, same message.
Snider, get the bankroll out of your good ear and listen to Bully.
Steven’s comments after pissing Saturday’s game away provide a window into the mind of a guy who is happy losing. Where’s the fire, dude? Where’s the passion, the anger? He’s not pissed, he’s happy. F’n dope.
“Another game […]

Bet The House Against the Flyers on Sunday

Nothing more to say.

Objects in Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear

Friday, March 14th, 2008

Especially, when the objects in your mirror are the Washington Capitals and Ovechkin.
I see these guys making the playoffs and bumping either the Flyers or Bruins out … or both. Not much to bump really in either case. The Flyers have 14 points in their last 22 games. What a disgrace.
Even if the Flyers make […]

NHL.com = Nobody Here Likes Grammar, Spelling

Thursday, March 13th, 2008

The NHL made a big deal about controlling every team’s website in the league and the Rangers even sued its own league in federal court, claiming the Rangers could run its own site much better than a boring NHL boilerplate site.
Maybe the Rangers were dead on.
From Thursday night on NHL.com below, you may notice the […]
